Refund Policy

Last Updated: 2026-05-13

90-Day Money-Back Guarantee

You get a full refund of the amount you paid for the plan if, 90 days after we deliver it, ALL of these are true:

  • You published every page we recommended.
  • You followed our instructions for each page (titles, length, structure).
  • You set up internal links the way we showed you.
  • You waited the full 90 days from the delivery date (see definition below).
  • The recommended pages received fewer than 10 total clicks from Google Search during the 90-day window, measured in Google Search Console.

When the 90-day window starts

The 90-day window starts on the date we email you the completed plan. That email is the official delivery timestamp. We’ll reference it when reviewing any refund request.

When you don’t get a refund

  • You didn’t publish the pages.
  • You changed our titles, structure, or strategy without telling us.
  • Your pages have less than 70% of the recommended word count.
  • Your website has critical technical issues we flagged (no sitemap, blocked by robots.txt, etc.) and you didn’t fix them.
  • You’re asking before 90 days have passed.

Factors outside our control

The performance guarantee assumes that, during the 90-day window:

  • Your site remains technically accessible to Google — no manual actions, accidental noindex tags, broken robots.txt, deindexing, or hosting downtime exceeding 7 days total.
  • You have not significantly altered the recommended pages after publishing (substantial rewrites, URL changes, or removal).
  • Your domain has not been hit by a Google manual action or algorithmic enforcement for reasons unrelated to our plan (e.g. spam links you bought, scraped content elsewhere on the site, expired SSL).
  • Your domain does not have pre-existing technical or trust issues that we flagged in the audit but you chose not to address.

If your refund request stems primarily from factors outside the scope of our recommendations — algorithm updates we couldn’t predict, competitor activity, unrelated technical problems on your site, or marketing decisions made by your team independently — we reserve the right to decline.

We’ll always explain our decision and, where appropriate, offer a revised version of the plan or additional guidance instead.

How to request a refund

Email luka@malpie.com with:

  • List of pages you published from the plan, with the URL and publish date of each
  • Proof of Google Search Console data for the 90-day window. Any of the following works:
    • Read-only Search Console access
    • Clear screenshots of the Performance report filtered to the recommended pages
    • A short Loom recording walking through the same data

We review in 5 business days. If approved, refund in 10 business days.

About the audit fee

The $5 audit fee is separate from the refund policy above. It pays for the personal audit and is non-refundable regardless of whether your business qualifies for the plan. The audit findings are the deliverable — you receive them either way.

The only exception: if we charge the audit fee but fail to deliver the audit within 5 business days, we’ll refund it proactively.

About the premium add-on

The premium add-on ($1000) covers hands-on implementation support delivered alongside the plan. Because most of its value is delivered through scheduled work sessions and direct collaboration, it is non-refundable once any session has taken place.

If you cancel the premium add-on before any session has been delivered, you’re entitled to a full refund of the add-on fee. The 90-day performance guarantee continues to apply to the underlying plan independently of the add-on.

If we don’t deliver the plan

If you’ve paid for the plan and we fail to deliver it within the timeframe we committed to at the time of purchase, you’re entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid for the plan — no performance criteria required. Email luka@malpie.com and we’ll process it within 10 business days.

EU / EEA consumers — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services under consumer protection law.

Because the plan is a custom digital deliverable that we begin preparing as soon as you pay, by completing your purchase you expressly consent to us starting work immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully delivered the plan to you.

If you withdraw before we have delivered the plan, you owe an amount proportional to the work we have already performed, and we will refund the balance.

This clause does not limit the performance-based 90-day guarantee above — it applies in addition to it.

Fraud, abuse, and chargebacks

We reserve the right to deny refund requests where we identify fraud, misrepresentation, falsified evidence, or abuse of this policy. Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Submitting altered screenshots or fabricated Search Console data.
  • Claiming the plan didn’t work while continuing to use the strategy on the same or related sites.
  • Reusing or reselling our deliverables on additional client sites without our written consent.
  • Initiating a chargeback for the same transaction before or after requesting a refund.

Any refund issued under this policy is void if a chargeback is subsequently initiated for the same transaction. We’ll respond to chargebacks with the evidence we have, including delivery records and email correspondence.

How refunds are processed

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times after approval depend on your bank or card issuer.

No signed agreement required

We don’t make customers sign separate refund agreements. The published policy on this page is the contract. If you meet the criteria above, the refund is honored — full stop.
